An Intro to the Montana Historical Society Photograph Archives

Throughout Montana’s history, the Montana Historical Society has acquired more than 1.25 million photographs in thousands of collections. Together, these images document the myriad lives and landscapes of the Treasure State’s history. Photo Archivist Jeff Malcomson will share what the MTHS photo archives are about and reveal compelling examples from four of the major collections.
